Panagiotis Syros is currently a Product Owner at TD Bank, where he leads a delivery team to design, plan and implement key strategic programs, projects and process improvements on the Loans and Mortgages platforms.

With 30 years of experience in Information & Communication Technologies, Panagiotis has developed expertise in Strategy, Program Management, Product Management, Marketing and Business Development.

Previously, he held roles at Telus Mobility, Huawei Technologies and Wind Telecommunications and has been recognized as Employee of the Year of Huawei Ireland Research Centre, and with the national Marketing Excellence Award for Service Development of the Greek Institute of Marketing.

As Director of Marketing of the Hellenic Canadian Board of Trade, Panagiotis contributes to supporting all brand-enhancing activities of HCBT through strategic initiatives and tactical campaigns across media, with the objectives to build awareness of HCBT among the target audiences in Canada and Greece, drive participation in its programs, grow its member base and maximize its socioeconomic impact in the communities it serves.

He is passionate about supporting Greek entrepreneurs from Greece and Canada to branch out across borders, and strengthening the exchanges between the business communities in the two countries, with Europe and beyond.

Outside of work, Panagiotis enjoys volunteering for the Greek Community of Toronto, serving as supervisor of one of GCT’s schools.
